2012 full tilt poker update - Pokerstars Is Buying Fulltilt Poker

In 2011 Full Tilt Poker was forced to close their poker room down due to the loss of both their domain and their liscense. In May of 2012 Fulltilt Poker's arch-rival, Poker Stars, is reportedly going to buy Full Tilt Poker. This is very good news for Fulltilt Poker customers who have been waiting for their cashouts. Step 1: Pick Your Rush Poker Poison

Rush Poker is still pretty new, but there are a surprising variety of game types already available. The main variants are No-Limit Holdem, Limit Holdem, and Omaha Hi. Step 2: Check Out the New Rush Poker Features

Here’s where the Rush gets interesting. When you join a Rush Poker game, you won’t be joining a single table; you’ll be placed into a giant pool of players. These pools range in size from hundreds to thousands of players. The Full Tilt software will select players at random, and assign seats. You’ll end up at a table with a bunch of totally random opponents, who you won’t be seeing for long!

You’ll be dealt your hole cards, as in any other game of poker. You’ll notice an unfamiliar button at the bottom of the table screen. It’s labeled “quick fold”, and it’s probably the single coolest thing about Rush Poker. In a normal-paced game of poker, you’d have to wait for your turn to act in order to fold a crappy hand. However in Rush Poker—get this—you can simply press quick fold, and ditch your hand immediately. You’ll not only fold before it’s your turn to act, you’ll be removed from the table (no more waiting!) and randomly seated at a new one. Rush Poker allows you to quick fold—fast forward—through any hand you don’t want to play. This feature puts the “Rush” in Rush Poker, and it’s what makes the game so fast.

Here’s an example of a possible Rush Poker scenario:

• You’re dealt 94 offsuit. Blech. You quick fold, and are removed from your table instantly. (This takes 5 seconds)
• You’re re-seated at a new table, with a new and randomly selected group of opponents. (This takes 1 second)
• You’re dealt J4 offsuit. Yuck again! You quick fold, and leave the table. (Another 5 seconds).
• New table, new players. Only this time, aces in the hole! You stick around and win a stack. (1 minute).

All of that in one minute and eleven seconds. Try pulling that off in normal-paced poker! This is the beauty of Rush Poker; the quick fold feature lets you zoom through hands like there’s no tomorrow.
